Long distances, without loss or interference
When distance, speed or electrical interference become the problem, fibre optic is the answer. We deliver fibre projects for building-to-building links, campus backbones, warehouse connections and FTTx access networks.
We handle the whole job: cable pulling, splicing, termination in enclosures and ODFs, and certification testing with the report handed to the client. Without certification there is no way to prove a run is within loss limits — which is why it is always part of the service.

Frequently asked questions
Fibre Optic Installation — common questions
Why use fibre instead of network cable?
Copper cable has a practical limit of 90 to 100 metres and is sensitive to electrical interference and lightning. Fibre goes far beyond those limits, is immune to electromagnetic interference and carries no electricity between buildings.
Single-mode or multimode?
Multimode is usual over short distances within one building or campus; single-mode over long routes and wherever growth is likely. We advise which to use based on the route and the active equipment planned.
Can fibre run outdoors?
It can, with cable rated for outdoor use and protected against ultraviolet light and rodents. The cable type is chosen at design stage, not on site.
Do you provide test reports?
Yes. Every run is certified and the measurement report is part of the handover, together with the installation diagram.
Do you do emergency repairs?
We do. We locate the break with an OTDR, repair it and re-certify the run. Under a maintenance contract the response time is agreed in writing.
Do you work outside Maputo?
Yes, in every province. For work outside Maputo and Pemba, travel is quoted separately and transparently.
